In her consultancy work Marilyn specialises in participative approaches to leadership and sector development, personal, professional and organisational transformation and generative thinking. Marilyn works with a wide range of clients, sectors and businesses throughout Australia.

Marilyn’s projects include bringing together leaders from within and across government sectors and business to address challenges and solve complex problems. She assists participants to refocus and define issues that impede reaching their strategic objectives and organisational success. Marilyn uses a ‘Change Lab’ approach which provides the container where participants can come together to engage in dialogue and reflective practice to see their present reality more clearly, from multiple perspectives, and create new ways of thinking and doing together.

Establishing ‘Communities of Practice’ is part of Marilyn’s work bringing together groups of people interested in developing integrated service systems with the intention to improve current practice in organisational trust, collaboration and aligning services to better meet the needs of clients.

Marilyn is working with a learning institute to deliver on-the-job professional development and accredited training in the Diploma of Management to individuals who have senior or managerial responsibilities that oversee the work of others or have specialised roles in strategic leadership.

Marilyn has a high level of experience and knowledge in working cross-culturally and uses her experience to design training workshops that build the capacity of professionals to work with people that do not share a common background.

Other projects include working with government and non-government organisations to manage and create change processes to integrate teams and business practices. Marilyn uses relationship focused learning, discovery, and collaboration to create identity, shared values and actions that match intention.

Marilyn is committed to creating the kind of space where people can engage in meaningful conversations to generate imaginative ideas, evolve current practice and develop solutions to create sustainable and innovative organisations.
