Client Reflections Marilyn has turned facilitation of workplace conversations into an art form! Conversations about transforming the way a team works or finding a new strategic direction become exciting and energising under Marilyn’s guidance. I have witnessed Marilyn facilitate complex and stress provoking discussions with thoughtful and positive results. Stella Conroy Marilyn's Casley's diverse professional qualities have made her an exceptional project manager for the Little Voices Big Noises project. She has been able to negotiate the requirements of funding bodies and government departments, sources and coordinate the practicalities of project events and meetings; and gather parents, children and community members as well as children's services professionals to participate in activities. Dr Jennifer Cartmel "Fabulous Trainer!" Marilyn offers creative processes and practical tools for facilitating and participating in meetings. Jocelyn Shephard "I have enjoyed every training session I have particpated in with Marilyn. I have felt enthusiastic and energised to bring my learning to my team. I have gained valuable skills." Leesa Richardson "Excellent Facilitation!" Marilyn is able to maintain our enthusiasm and is appealing to different learning styles. Raeleen Bougoine Marilyn’s expertise and facilitation skills created the space where people felt safe / at home, not pressured and enabled to share and contribute and to produce something via collective thought, discussion, consideration of possibilities and mutual agreement. So positive feedback all round. Our Unit even though it is quite diverse has now established a shared vision and mission which provides us with a clear identity, a common purpose and unity as to why we are here and the bigger dreams we have for the people that we are here to serve and our important role within Council and the community. Although we have a bit more work to do on the goals, objectives and strategies etc, I am confident that the two days have provided sufficient direction, material and commitment to ensure that we are able to create and implement a Strategic Plan for the Unit and one that has some relevance to us all. The staff development day that Marilyn ran for us was also very well received by the participants and all Supervisors have been using / doing more work on their team action plans as well, which is quite pleasing. The Green Frog analogy was brilliant from the conversations I have been hearing. Fortunately most people don’t want to be a Green Frog or encourage anyone who is showing symptoms. So I would highly recommend Marilyn’s services to other organisations and local governments, particularly if they are committed to people focused learning, discovery, and collaboration and shared outcomes that are meant to make a difference! Rhonda Noyes "My supervision sessions with Marilyn has encouraged me to explore my intentions, my practice and reflection. Marilyn has helped me to pose better questions and has introduced me to interesting and useful frameworks." Sharyn McCarthy "Marilyn has displayed great skills in facilitation with our team over several years. It has been supportive and safe to discuss challenging topics with Marilyn facilitating. These opportunities allow us to deepen our reflective practice and take the next step! The outcomes have been extremely rewarding." Team member "Thanks for everything you have helped me focus on some staffing issues that we are in the process of examining." Julie Bywaters
